Jan 25, 2014 Hello, There are all sorts of free tools for obtaining a list of the devices on your network which will display both the IP and MAC addresses. What I would like to know is that given a MAC address (assuming the device in active on the network), is there a way to determine the IP address using only command line commands (no outside help from other software, etc)?
